This week we will have our first unit test in math. We have covered divisibility rules, greatest common factor, least common factor, prime factorization, expressions, functions, and integers. Share a strategy you have learned during our unit that has been helpful.

Today we started our Speed and Motion investigation and will wrap up tomorrow. What is the major difference between uniform and variable motion? Can you give an example of an object moving in uniform or variable motion?

Our field trip was a wonderful experience! I enjoyed listening to music from The Nutcracker and Fantasia. I was also very proud of the students who performed on the stage! Way to go!

I was very impressed with the number of students participating in reading today! Identifying story elements and plot elements can be confusing, but remember that plot is centered around a high point (climax) of a story. Have you heard of the story called The Three Little Pigs? Think about the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution of the story and share your ideas here!

I was so proud of students who were prepared with their reading logs today! Remember to read 3 books each month to stay on track to fulfill our long-term goal.
