It was a delight and an honor to receive the golden apple last week! The
golden apple looked stunning on my desk, yet I was pleased to pass it to Mrs. Longest today! It is always a wonderful experience to acknowledge others for their hard work and effort! Today we composed our first class poem for our anthology! I was impressed by your creativity and I am looking forward to reading your personal limericks!

Today we started poetry and discussed our thoughts about what a poem can do. We also watched a few videos that included similes, metaphors, and personification in songs. What are some of your favorite songs that include poetic elements?

Our class did a wonderful job working collaboratively to earn 24 class points for a party! Today we enjoyed our celebration by playing electronics! I was very impressed by how respectful everyone was towards each other and everyone's possessions. I was thrilled to play "Just Dance"! What was your favorite moment from our party?
